Biography
Segun Emmanuel Akinremi
I am a Nigerian-born, UK-based visual artist whose fine-art photography practice explores the expressive intersections of landscape, memory, and cultural identity. Working primarily with still imagery, I transform unnoticed moments into invitations to reflect on belonging and cultural perspective.
I began exhibiting professionally in July 2022, earning national recognition at the Lagos Photo Festival, followed by curated exhibitions at UK venues including Hastings Arts Forum, Magan Gallery, and Henarch Galleries. Based in Maidstone, Kent, my work has received critical evaluation from national arts critics, establishing me as an emerging voice within the contemporary British fine-art photography scene.
